So I just was wondering though if since I only wash my hair about 3 times per week, if u think it's okay to use the protein shampoo/ conditioner every time since I'm not washing it every day, or if I should still only use it like once out of every 3 washes or so?

I am very rough on my hair personally because I go from a dark natural brown very wavy and thick hair that grows like a weed... so to bleach it I have to do it many times over and then I colour it and I only cut it every few months sometimes every 6 months. But lately every few months as the sides need to be shaved. I don;t use salon products because they aren't something I can afford and yes I do it myself *GASP* I know what I am doing but don't recommend anyone else to.

@theAMFE lol you are too funny. Actually using color treated products will not harm your hair it actually would be better, they are full of less or no sulfates, and parabens, they arefull of less salts, are more gentle on the hair,,,,and the list goes on. :)

@AnnaRC2011 if it is natural i would not suggest it. as even if they don't use bleach it will go a golden blonde color, and if yo uuse bleach then you have to tone it, and maintain it.
