@MrAcenan mmmm sorry,, i dont think you are correct on either Viking or Mayan,, The Mayans never predicted the end, just the end of the age and that everything would be different,, they never mentioned fire that I am aware of,, As far as Vikings go Ragnarock also called Gotterdammerung is the end of the age as well, followed by the great winter of winters,, but doesnt say it is the end of the world either,, just that its going to be a severe winter,, its is more like the end of an age

@Lost8Wizard there is a lot online. There are lots of people who study this stuff in great detail. Even a brief review of geology and ancient history show one thing for sure...stuff hits this planet from outerspace. There are craters all over the planet, some as big as small countries. AND on other planets. If even one of those hits in our lifetime, it would be incredibly disastrous. Poles can shift when hit by huge things from outer space. It happens. Look up Tunguska meteor

hmm... in " viking mytologi " ragnarock is the end of the world "The world will die in ice and even the gods will freeze to death" . but in the western (mayans i think) said the world will end in flame/or something very warm.... correct me if i am wrong.
