There might be ...
There might be something to this. THINK BIG! City of the Future. Much of the increased heat measured if from "heat islands" where lots of air conditioners run inside buildings and cars and transfer heat outside. With enough of this in big cities you get a measurable increase in temperature. What you need then are some really big air conditioners to transfer that heat to uninhabited areas ... or maybe recycled back into energy production.
