blonde??????

i'm dyeing my hair blonder, right now its a dark blonde/light brown and i have a fairly light skin town and grey/blue eyes.

how do i choose the right shade of blonde?? golden? white blonde? others?? i blemish easily so i dont want strawberry blonde.... but at the same time i dont really want platium cause it looks a little flat. any ideas?

Answer:
Basically look at your natural color, or try and remember it? Was it a cooler looking color with no red, or did you have a lot of red undertones in it? If it was the cooler color go with an icy lighter blonde or if your adventurous go with platinum. (Make sure you aren't too light, you'll look one color haha) If you had a redder color you want to go with a more golden color, with maybe a caramel color weave if your looking for tone. If you go with a cool color and have red tinted hair you will come out with a greenish color :/ and we all know that isn't a flattering color on anyone. Basically talk to a professional if you can get to one and ask for advice.

From dark red to natural blonde at home

After watching every single video on YouTube about dying hair from red to blonde (and some black or brown to blonde) I think it's only fair to share my own experience/reassurance in case anyone wants to do a similar thing. Before dying my hair red it had been highlighted blonde at the hairdressers for about 6 years. I didn't realise how hard it would be to remove the red until it was too late. Three different hair dresser consultations estimated the procedure to cost at least $200 Canadian depending on how many bleaches I needed. So after a lot of research I decided to risk it and try to strip my hair myself. And I am so glad I did - even after the scares from each hair dresser telling me my hair would break off. Just don't overdo it and remember to do a strand test at each stage! Color oops experience

My hair initially was bleach blonde towards the bottom half, and the top was a medium-dirty blonde being my root growth. I dyed my hair with revlon color silk in medium blond and the areas that were bleach blond turned grey! So i did some research and decided to try color oops. Definately should have picked up two bottles instead of one to fully saturate my hair but i made it work. I hope this helps out a bit. make sure that if you plan to re-dye your hair after the use of color oops(because it says that with the product it's safe to do so) make sure to use a protien rich conditioner and leave it in because it will close the pores in you hair to prevent the dye from grabbing too much when you do re-dye it. My hair turned grey as a result of the bleach blonde grabbing to much off the medium blonde hair dye. If i were to put another dye ontop of it, a professional friend said that it could have potentially turned BLACK! so be nice to your hair girls and again i hope this helps. best of luck :D
